Dr. Roman Tkaczuk - Practice Owner and Medical Director 

Dr. Tkaczuk graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and also holds a BA in Biological Sciences from University of Illinois.  He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Tkaczuk is married, has three sons, and two cats named Gino and Shiloh.  Dr. Tkazcuk has always enjoyed sports and was a competitive volleyball player.  Currently, he enjoys tennis, carpentry and all sorts of house & yard work.  He is also an avid spectator of the many sports played by his sons.

 

Dr. Valerie Aldridge 

Dr. Aldridge graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 as the valedictorian of her class.  She also has a BA from Northwestern University in Biological Sciences and Slavic Studies.  Dr. Aldridge is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  In her free time, Dr. Aldridge enjoys reading, attending concerts, cheering on any Northwestern Wildcats' team, and spending time with her husband and daughters. 

 

 

Dr. Esther Cherrick

Dr. Cherrick graduated from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Cherrick also holds a Bachelors of Science from Loyola University Chicago in Biological Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences from Colorado State University.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  In her free time, Dr. Cherrick enjoys reading, playing with her Bichon Frise puppy ‘Naggie’, spoiling her niece and spending time with her family.  

               

Dr. Marlena Berger

Dr. Berger graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and also received a BS in Animal Sciences from University of Illinois. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests are surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr. Berger likes baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She also has a rescue puppy named Larrabee, who she loves playing fetch at the park with.
