Dr. Roman Tkaczuk-Practice Owner and Medical Director

 

Dr. Tkaczuk graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and also holds a BA in Biological Sciences from University of Illinois.  He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Tkaczuk is married, has three sons, and two young cats named Gino and Shiloh.  Dr. Tkazcuk has always enjoyed sports and was a competitive volleyball player.  Currently, he enjoys tennis, carpentry and all sorts of house & yard work.  He is also and avid spectator of the many sports played by his sons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Dr. Kurt Larson

 

Dr. Larson graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  Since then, he has practiced in Wisconsin, Vermont and Illinois.  Dr. Larson maintains memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  He and his wife are the owners of a sweet, loving cat named Lucy, who was adopted from the Anti-Cruelty Society.  In his free time, Dr. Larson enjoys biking along the lakefront path and living in a city as diverse and exciting as Chicago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Valerie Aldridge

 

Dr. Aldridge graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 as the valedictorian of her class.  She also has a BA from Northwestern University in Biological Sciences and Slavic Studies.  Dr. Aldridge is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  In her free time, Dr. Aldridge enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, cheering on any Northwestern Wildcats' team, camping with her husband Brennan, and playing with her cats Maggie and Koshka.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Ashley Hammer

 

Dr. Hammer is a 2007 graduate from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine on the Island of St. Kitts.  She spent her clinical year at the University of Illinois prior to moving to Chicago.  Dr. Hammer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.  Libby and Etty, two "coconut retrievers" found homes with Dr. Hammer while she lived on St. Kitts.  They bring daily smiles to her face with their crazy antics.  She also has a horse, Nancy, and a rambunctious cat named Kiki that she adopted from PAWS.  Dr. Hammer enjoys cooking, traveling, yoga, dining out and experiencing the city.
